Sound Grading Practices:
The district has created Sound Grading Practices and has a new report card for the 2017-2018 school year. Sound Grading Practices are not fully standard based. They include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensuring that students' grades accuratley reflect student achievement
- Equal Increment Grading Scale(no score under 50%)
- Accepting late work
- Reassess tests and assingments (5th grade reassessment form here)

Report Card Redesign:
The following grading scales are being used for 3rd-6th Grade:

Core Content Areas (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Health) *Overall content grade

A 90-100

B 80-89

C 70-79

D 60-69

U 50-59

Traits of a Successful Learner

M – Standard Met: I Got This! I have a complete understanding, able to work independently and can teach it to others.

N: Near standard (almost meets the standard): I have understanding and can work independently much of the time.

P: Partially meets standard: I have some understanding of the target, can work independently some of the time. I just need more practice.

S: Support Needed: I am not yet able to work independently, but I can work with support or intervention.

X: Not Evaluated
